Got back from Wales on Friday afternoon and have been busy catching up with shopping, washing, ironing and visiting family.   There are over 300 posts in my reader, so it's going to take me a while to get round to you all but I will, have no fear!

I've taken load of photos and hopefuly I will do a post about our little holiday by the end of the week, or maybe next week, as we are hoping to take all five grandchildren to Southport for a day on the beach on Thursday.  Obviously this trip is dependent on the weather but the weather forecast is good for Thursday so hopefully the trip will happen.

Anyway I've started working my way through my reader so you can expect a visit from me soon.

Welcome back. I do hope the weather holds for you. I remember when my grandparents took us on trips. It was a blast. We went to Goldfield Nevada, where my grandmother grew up and it was great. We teased her that her boyfriend burnt the whole town down making her a birthday cake. Thanks GF for the tip LOL :)

I'd so love a trip to Wales! Maybe one of these days, Lord willing.

Can't wait to see the pictures as that's the only way I'm going to see Wales at this point in time but good pictures are almost as good as being there!

We did Quilly, thanks for checking in.

We are really looking forward to the day at the beach Susan and of course it will make a great blog post!

The weather forecast is good for Thursday Dr. John and we have tons of games for the children to play on the beach plus buckets and spades and a kite!

I'm hoping to get the Wales photos up this week Crystalchick :)

We are really looking forward to the beach on Thursday Thom and of course we'll be taking lots of photos to share. I hope our grandchildren remember our trips with as much fondness as you remember yours with your grandparents. x

Thanks Bindi, photos coming shortly. :)

My photos won't be anywhere near as good as yours Linda but I think you will enjoy them. x

Actually we both felt we'd been away a lot longer Ron, I suppose because we were enjoying ourselves so much. :)

330 posts Shrinky? Where'd you get that from honey? I've done over 500! Anyway thanks for stopping by and I'll have the photos up soon. x

Ah I've just realised where the confusion with the 300 posts has arisen. I meant blogs I follow have written 300 posts between them so that's how many I will have to read to catch up.

Sorry about the confusion. :)
