Before the rain............

You may, or may not, know that we've had torrential rain here this week. I've posted plenty of photos of our back garden but none of the front so, as luck would have it, I got out in the front garden and took some photos before the rain flattened everything.

It's not as lush as the back garden but it's neat and we like it. We have tulips and daffodils in the front garden too but obviously they've been and gone. There's lillies and antirrhinums ready for flowering but not quite out yet.

This is dedicated to my dear Dad, who has passed on his love of gardening to me.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD, I LOVE YOU.

and a Happy Father's Day to all you Dads out there.

Akela- Love your slide shows- I should try one but I can barely post still photos on my site. LOL!

The front garden is lovely, The peonies are (oops, WERE, spectacular)When mine are blooming and they call for rain I run right out and snip every last one of my peonies.
The blue and white flowers are columbine and the pinks are dianthus (often called simply "pinks")

Happy Fathers Day to your Dad and MWM too. Thanks for visiting mine today. Happy Sunday.

The slide shows are really easy to do, honest. They have to be for me to do them. Have a go, if you want help you can email me.
Thanks for identifying my flowers, I bought a whole load of plants a couple of years ago and put them in but I'd forgotton what they were all called! :#
Happy Sunday to you too m'dear.
