Driving like a maniac, he weaved in and out of the traffic.
Honking the horn, overtaking, tailgating, even running a red light,
taking chances he wouldn't normally take.
He had to get to the hospital,
be there for the birth of his first child.
Only two minutes away.....
Jan screamed "Stop now, the baby's coming!"
Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

That is a situation I would not wish on my worst enemy. Great writting though, I could sense the tension and worry.
Gosh, I thought Jan was already IN the hospital. Brilliant piece, Pearl. Well done.

I must be LOST IN SPACE to forget about your lovely blog, Akelamalu. Arghhhhh! How could I forget? I'll tell you how I forgot. I thought your blog was another blog I visit. I didn't see the butterfly. I just assumed you changed or something. Well, you know what they say when you assume (you make an ass out of u and me - get it) Fabulous story. I would love to partake, but I must get my writing skills up to par. In the words of Arnold, "I'll be back." Cheers!!
