With so many others sharing the same tank
it was all too easy to forget in which direction you were headed.

I used to have a giant silver dappled shubunkin (which is a Japanese goldfish except mine wasn't gold) who glided around our tropical community tank all day picking up algae-covered pebbles, sucking on them like boiled sweets for a few secs before spitting them out... he loved doing that...

Doesn't matter, when they get to one side, they just have to turn around and go the other way anyway.
Nice thinking, I agree. However when this picture was taken they all were headed away from the camera. Note that none are headed to the middle, all outward.

This reminded me of my visit to Hong Kong once. I was walking in a crowd or rather I was in a crowd and it was moving...I was so lost and apparently I fainted. I truly know the feeling...Mine is here
