Susan at Stony River hosts this fun theme each Monday, so do pop over and read the others who have
signed Mr. Linky. The rules are thus:
Every Monday Susan will post a picture for the subject of your story. Microfiction means the shortest of short stories. Think Aesop's fables, comic strips, or even jokes: complete stories that can be told in under a minute. For this game, the limit is a tweetable 140 characters or fewer, including punctuation and spa
Here's today's picture and my contribution.
Margueritta hoped the bulls her new beau had brought as a gift for her father
would divert Dad’s attention from his appalling fashion sense.

I actually quite like the "cat hat". Could do with one today. It's perishing cold here! :)
Im with MorningAJ - it is flippin' freezing where we live. I looked at the picture and tried to imagine what you would come up with, to no avail. Your sense of humour is terrific.
The old man fell for it? He might just! Great humour.
Ah, you and I were on the same fashion page this week. Not sure I'd have brought him home to Dad wearing that outfit either. :)
Have a good week!
The cat hat would come in handy here too AJ it's only 2 degrees F!
So glad you enjoyed it Valerie. It's cold here too hon. x

The fashion statement is very confusing here. I see her point!

You know it takes a woman to shop for her man. I am sure she will turn him into a fashion icon in no time at all.
Brilliant!
Well, it may take more "bull" for her dad to get past this guys fashion sense!! Terrific one for the day as always! Hope you have a great week!
Sylvia
Best of luck to Margueritta, indeed! Groom wannabes wearing bad toupees can be so off-putting to future fathers-in law. It turns daughters' dads into not wannabes!
Visiting your blog was so much fun--> thank you!

I was wondering about his choice in garb as well. LOL!
I've heard of cat among the pigeons - but cat among the bulls? No way! Who was he trying to impress? LOL

Maybe Margueritta should take a closer look at how her beau is stroking her dad and spend a bit more time contemplating his fashion sense? Hmmm ...?
Ah yes . . . looking back on those eye-wateringly bad choices teens made back then!
