my uncle US Army is buried high up in the hills up north at a veteran cemetary. the golden poppy is the california state flower. I've been up there to visit his gravesie. the hillside is filled with golden poppies in spring, so beautiful. later honey
When a Vet is somewhere with the little flowers I give a small donation and hang the poppy off the console in my car where I can see it. Always good to remember their service!

I did not bow my head in silence today, the Child has school as normal, I was not remembering.
But I remember now.
