Susan at Stony River hosts this fun theme each Monday, so do pop over and read the others who have signed Mr. Linky. The rules are thus:
Every Monday Susan will post a picture for the subject of your story. Microfiction means the shortest of short stories. Think Aesop's fables, comic strips, or even jokes: complete stories that can be told in under a minute. For this game, the limit is a tweetable 140 characters or fewer, including punctuation and spaces.
Here's today's picture and my contribution.
Maybe this was the wrong location for the picnic,
there was a definite ‘country’ smell in the air.
Or maybe it was John’s beer giving him gas.

Poor John. It's probably not his fault that he has a digestive problem. :)
A problem with many parties, I fear :-)
Enjoyed that.
Yes! There is definitely an aloofness in the air! And it just could be a little too much gas! Very creative!
Hahaha, this explains the long faces!
Oh, THAT sort of 'country air' ... that'll teach them not to drink warm beer.
Love me the potty humor!!! :O)
John should lay off the beer!
Well, at least outdoors there'd be the chance of a breeze. :)
HAHAHAHAHA, I have been to reunions in the middle of a cow pasture. My my! Nice, made me LOL
LOL! What a great way to start my day! You do got to watch out for the cow pastures! Love it! Hope your week goes well!

Very funny!!
I thought you were headed toward cowpies, but it was gas from beer--hilarious. I laughed a lot. Unique take!
Might explain why no one is smiling.

Oh dear...laughing over here. Yeah, those "country" smells can be quite overpowering. Silly.
Blame the dog, John! Blame the dog!
Or cows lol
John needs to learn some restraint when he is around 'ladies', I think!
LOL. Good one this week. Cheers!
I blame the bottle. Nowhere for the gas to. A glass lets it escape!
oh poor john!

Yeah, there's a reason they call him "john" and it's not because it's his name! LOL!
Maybe its something they've eaten! LOL!
