UPDATE ON DAD

My Dad came out of hospital on Monday, on crutches, and is doing great. So good in fact he went out last night playing Whist! He didn't walk there, luckily there is a service called Ring and Ride which will pick him up at the door, deliver him to where he's going, then pick him up and take him back home. We are all thrilled that only 2 weeks after having a full hip replacement, and after months of agony, Dad is back in the land of the living, because to be honest he'd all but given up

He was definitely down Buffalo, but thankfully he's not anymore! :)

Thanks Ciara. Glad you like the Christmas songs.

Good luck Gleds, I think you'll get them once you get started. Thanks for my Dad too. x

Thank you Bee, Christmas will be a lot happier with my Dad out of pain. x

Dad has had less pain even with the operation than he had before Catch, and I have to say I was the same after my knee replacement. It's good to see you back honey, I hope this means you're recovering well. xx

Hey Akelamalu~

SOOOOO glad to hear the good news on Dad! Last Spring, I shared some Reiki with a friends' Mom, while she was in the hospital, who also had hip surgery. She is doing well too! Yeaaaa!

Congrats on your award. See...you're everyones Best Blogging Buddy!

And you deserve it!

Have a great day, my friend.

Ron

I know it's great isn't it Ron, of course we know the Reiki helped, it was good of you to send some. xxx

Oh my word, he came out of the hospital on Monday and already he is on the go? Wow, I am impressed.......Mom was flat for about a month after her surgery, all she could manage was to hobble to the bathroom and back. Well I suppose the pain he WAS going through was greater than what is he having now. Mom said there is nothing that matches the pain from bone grinding on bone. And I can imagine....

So glad for him, and for you, it must be wonderful to see him enjoying life again, and soon he will be out of pain completely. Or I think so, I don't hear Mom complain that much, although her other hip is giving her trouble now.

I am so glad your father is back to normal and that his hip replacement was successful. It's so hard when we are in pain and things don't work the way they used to.

Congratulations on the award. You are deserving and it is very cute.

I looked at the carols, but right now I'm so tired I can't think of the answer to even one. I will try again later. Thanks for letting me know.

Blessings,
Mary
