How could I not take up the challenge when I achieved 'O' level success in Art in the year dot. All my class thought I excelled at Lino Printing and the examiner had particularly commented on the peculiar shades of red in my prints. These were, in fact, bloodstains from the chunks I had taken out of my hand with the gouging tool, but thankfully my tutor didn't let on! The examiner also said my painting of a child enjoying a day at the beach was "a significant piece, depicting the starving in Africa"? So, Salvador Dali move over please.
Now it took me a
An idea for some wallpaper.
A contemporary vase with spring flowers, ignore the full stop that is not the end....
And the Pièce de résistance
Blogosphere flowers.
Now to help myvictims chosen blogger friends who I think would enjoy a little artistic interlude, I have copied Annelisa's instructions below which were very helpful. I have added number 5 because I found this invaluable.
1. The paint starts dripping from the 'paintbrush' (your cursor) the moment it touches the paper. The way to start afresh is to reload the page.
2. The paint comes in black to begin, and each time you left-click it changes colour - you don't have a choice which colour it goes to, but you can click again and see if you like that colour better. Sometimes the colour doesn't show until you move the cursor a bit.
3. I found I liked to do it 'full screen' - by pressing F11 at the top of the keyboard - just to have more space to play with. Then press F11 again once you've saved.
4. The only way I could see to save was to do the 'Print screen' (Prt Sc somewhere to the right of the main keyboard (usually between the main typing area and the numerical keypad on the right). Then you could paste in a program such as 'Paint', but you'd need to cut the edges off...
5. When painting, if you right click this will allow you to take your cursor to another point and start painting again without dragging colour across the page.
Now to choose somevictims friends who I think may be up for the challenge.
The first person to spring to mind is Cream, because he is very artistic and I think he could do with a change from the doodles.
Then there's Early Bird, who is really creative with her ATCs.
Maybe Catch would like to take up the challenge, she's always game.
What about Denise, she has some great photos, perhaps she's like to do a bit of painting instead of photography.
Of course if any other readers would care to take up the challenge, it's entirely up to you.
ENJOY!
Oh yes, I should also mention that the originator of this meme was Anthony at The Lives and Times...of Anthony McCune, and he'd quite like you to write a comment when you've done the meme, just saying so.

Oh, Akelamalu, I knew I could count on you to come up with something good! Excellent artwork, my dear - I especially love the flowers in a vase, and am still wondering how you managed to control the splodges so well!!
And well done you, for finding a way to stop the splodges (the right-clicking thing) - I'll have to try that... it could make all the difference... hey, it might even change my life!! :-D
I got the little gadget for my son's laptop in the post this morning, so am hoping that it will work, and I'll get the computer back tonight... after taking the kids swimming, that is...
