Succinctly Yours - A Microfiction Meme #39

Grandma at Grandma's Goulash provides a picture and a word prompt for this Microfiction Meme and the rules are use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words.

Want more challenge? Use the word of the week in your story. This part is optional.

This week's word is HIBERNATE here's the picture and my offering using the picture and word of the week  in 140 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

The trees said winter is on its way.

Time to hibernate Michael decided,

not realising that love was just around the corner

to change his mind.

Yes, indeedy, I DO believe if anything could warm you up enough as to prevent hibernation, it would be be love! In fact, wasn't it the wonderful Fab Four who melodically reminded us that it's all you need?

Love this, Pearl. When love comes bounding towards him I hope he doesn't fall off that bike. He should hold on tight.

A lovely reminder that we never know what waits around the bend. This could make a wonderful introduction to a full length story.

I always thought Sean had too much of his Mom in his face to be John's 'spit' but yes, he does sound so much like his Dad
unlike James, I think Sean is exceptionally talented
