Nice one - that sounds almost like it's based on real events. :)

Yeah, I lost my car keys once while joking around. Ultimately cost me some big bucks to have new ones made.

Wonder if he ever found them...lol.

Nice - different take on the photo. I hope he doesn't have to wait until the spring thaw! :)

Could I please have Tom's address so I could GPS myself to his neck of the woods? We basically haven't had any snow yet this year and, quite frankly, I might have to go into rehab for Fluffy White Stuff Withdrawal. (I LOVE SNOW! If I had some right now, I'd eat it for breakfast. LOL!)

Fun take!

Really AJ? I made it up I promise. :)

Ah yes, or that even Cloudia LOL

One of my grandson's lost his Daddy's car keys once Beach, it was very costly!

LOL Cheshire Wife

Doubt it Valerie ;)

Thanks Lisa :)

If we get any snow here I'll send it to you SparkleFarkle, I hate it! LOL

I don't know HOW you come up with these, but they're ALWAYS brilliant!

Great ending!

And it's funny you used the name Tom because my brother's name is Tom and he manages a restaurant!!!

Have a wonderful Monday, m'dear!

At least that is what he would have them believe!

Poor Tom--maybe he could have used some of that leg power to kick the snow away. You have a creative & clever use of "drift" in your story!

Daryl said...

brrrrrr ... you are so clever

Deb said...

When I saw just the word 'drift' and then the pic I was curious as to what you had written. I would have been stumped. But you pulled it off nicely ! Clever Writer Lady !

I lost a huge key ring one winter and searched for days without success to find it. When spring arrived, I easily discovered it next to my front steps, where it had been buried under snow. I can really relate to this one.

Always a good idea to have a spare set of keys Lady's Life!

Oh no BankerChick, hope the key gets there safely. x
