Friday 55 Flash Fiction # 46 Guilty or Not Guilty?..

Guilty or Not Guilty?

James looked at the defendant

As a juror he had to listen to the evidence then make up his mind.

A lot of what was being said was just repetitive and oh so boring.

Stifling a yawn it suddenly came to him.

Taking his pen

he filled in the missing word on the crossword puzzle.

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

Saw yesterday a kid in GB got stabbed in the head by a robber- and it didn't hit his brain! Making full recovery...

Guess I have some more reading to do. I haven't seen the petition.

But I've seen your 55, and it unfortunately rings all too true. I think your guy may have been seated for the OJ trial! (Among others...)

Mojo said...

Oh well... apparently they don't care what we Colonials have to say. Probably figure we have enough problems of our own (which is true, but still...)

You're very kind RN, I'm pleased you enjoy them. :)

Isn't it just Sandi!

You will definitely know what it's like then Signgirl.

Welcome ghracel nice to meet you. I have answered your query on your blog.

I would imagine some cases can be very boring Linda!

I wish other people could sign the petition Ciara it would certainly swell the numbers.

I think he must have had a very boring case to listen to Mojo! Unfortunately the petition is only open to British Citizens and ex pats. :(

I would sign but I am not sure a Colonist would be permitted .. so know that I support this from across the 'pond'

How you do this each week amazes me … but I suppose it’s akin to the way I write Haiku on Fridays ;--)
