Excellent advice. Try passing this on to some politicans as obligatory practice.

Peace to you. May all those who want peace join hands so that it becomes obvious we are much more numerous than those who profit from war.

I think they should split the world in two. Let the ones who want to kill each other just bloody well get on with it somewhere else, and leave the rest of us alone.

You know...for the past few years I have done the flu clinic at my doctors office....this year was no exception. I meet some wonderful people. In a few days we will celebrate Rememberance Day...living on the doorstep of the largest seniors population in Canada I have had the opportunity to meet some wonderful veterans. Yesterday whilst I was doing the clinic to old guys started chatting and sharing stories...they both faught in Wars but were thousand away from each other..one was from the Pakistani navy and the other was from Canadian navy..their stories were similar and they shared this unspoken comaradaire and their desire for peace. It was a lovely moment to observe and I felt fortunate to have been there.

Excellent post dear one.

It begins in our communities, by giving to each other and remembering, we belong to each other...

Give Peace a chance!

Thank you for blogging for peace and encouraging others to do so. I've read some amazing posts already and seen more and more globes. Last night when I went to bed, I had the most peaceful feeling. It was wonderful.

If I knew the technology, I would have sung and posted the words to, "From A Distance" for Peace Day. That song says it all.

Oh that surely is a beautiful song and totally appropriate MOI

Akelamalu, my friend, as always you banged the nail on the head!!

Sorry for not being around lately - I'm so bogged down in three zillion things!! But I have some good news, I'll be writing about when this month is up (and I finish my nanowrimo) re my health...my thyroid disease has reversed itself ( a rare occurrence indeed!) Yay!! Must be doing something right! :-)

Anyway, thanks for visiting. I have fallen of the face of our peaceful earth (yet! :-) )

Big hugs

and

Peace to you and yours!
