As she walked in the door she knew, this was her dream home.
It was an old house and though smelly, it had so much character,
It would have to be gutted but it would be fabulous once everything was finished.
New floors were imperative the floorboards were rotten.
The body was an unexpected find.
Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

She bought my neighbour's house! (tee hee)
Great 55 this week. I love a good corpse on a Friday.
My 55 are here.
That's a rather cruel twist. I wonder if she'll ever live there in peace...
hahahaha! I had a vested interest - up to the point of the body! Today sees another day's graft here in the Nesbitt kitchen! lol!
Not what you want to find, me thinks.
Nice one, as always.
That's a turn-up for the books... if that was me I'd move on... FAST.
Funny!:)
ah but it adds character...every house has a story....
Ooooer wierd neighbours eh AJ?
I think I'd run a mile from it Grandpa!
Hope you don't find any bodies Denise! ;)
No Anthony, one would rather find a treasure chest I think!
Me too Valerie!
Glad it made you smile Sally
You're right Brian but who'd want to live with a story like that? LOL

I wonder if she loved the house as much after finding the dead person.
And so was that last line! :0)
"Vacant Possession" of sorts .....
Oh, I love it!
Ooer Tony did my head in with that "vacant possession" analogy. Did you know there was an ancient magical ritual you supposedly could do in a graveyard where you dug up a body, did all spooky hocus pocus round it and the fucking thing got animated with the spirit of a DEMON and started talking telling you all manner of evil demonic things, how scary is that!!!
akelamalu: oooo.....it's like something ghost stories are made of. Booo!
hehehe. Love it sweetie. xxx
ps...i wasn;t expecting a body either. : )
I imagine it put her off somewhat Connie
Ah the last line got you eh Aims?
Sort of Tony ;)
Now that is a scary thought Gleds. Glad you enjoyed it.
Haha the last line got you too eh Spiky?

love it. Very good! Made me giggle. x
Thanks Sharon :)
