Not good enough Mr Brown.......

I have received a reply to the letter I sent to Gordon Brown PM written by Michael Molloy from the office of the Leader of the Labour Party.    Mr. Molloy has copied facts from the Labour Party Manifesto which do nothing to address the concerns with which I wrote to the Prime Minister.   Therefore I have sent a reply to Gordon Brown.

19th April 2010

Gordon Brown PM
10 Downing Street
London
SW1 2AA

Dear Mr. Brown
With reference to my letter dated 11th April, to which Michael Molloy from your Labour Party office replied; the reply did not answer my question.   All Mr. Molloy did was to copy facts from your manifesto, which did nothing to reassure me on the things that concern me.

If you cannot/will not address my questions, and convince me your policies will rectify the matter I wrote about, I will not be voting Labour on 6th May 2010. You should remember that the pensioners of this country have a huge vote and are the people who are most likely take the time to actually go to the polling station, unlike people like the woman in the newspaper clipping I sent you, who is too bone idle to get out there and get a job and would rather sit at home getting drunk at my expense!

Yours sincerely,

I'll keep you posted.  I've had a reply from David Cameron's office (Conservative) which I will post tomorrow.

I think they read off the same black board. And they are the biggest bunch of losers in the world... c*nts!! That's what they are, they promise their own individual list of things to do, we vote for them then once they get their foot in the door of no.10... forget it we're here and we're now going to screw the country just like blair n brown did... nothings changed.

It's good to be engaged in the process and to ask questions.

One of my pet peeves in life is when people complain and moan and groan BUT do nothing to change the situation. Huge hats off to you for taking action ! Hope you get a real answer to your question.

Sorry about the previous post ... a typo or two got past!

Dare I hazard a guess that, if the forthcoming election wasn't imminent, and were it not for the fact that the party machines are in overdrive, you may never have had a reply?

I shall certainly visit tomorrow to see the Conservative reply.

Wonder if the nice Mr Clegg will get one of his minions to respond as well?

All politicians make promises and as my mother used to say 'promises are like pie crusts - made to be broken' which is exactly what they do Indigo!

I'm like a dog with a bone Thom I never let go! LOL

I won't Dumdad :)

I'm waiting in anticipation Pam ;)

I always follow through Bee :)

Cheers Jingle

I've already been in touch with the newspaper that published the piece about the alcoholic girl Buff but I haven't had a reply - I suppose it's just not newsworthy.

We pensioners do have quite a punch in the polling arena Ron, which some politicians seem to forget!

I'm trying Daryl, I'm really trying. ;)

I do try Ivy & Haley

I've contacted the paper that published the story of the alcoholic Valerie but they haven't replied.

I'll post it tomorrow Spiky

Definitely Trav

That's phne of my pet peeves too Deb, which is why I write a lot of letters! LOL

Oh yes, the only reason I've got replies is because the election is imminent Fletch. Nothing from Nick Clegg as yet.

Is that good Cloudia?? ;)
