Time for a clearout
Wardrobes bulging, overflowing, untidy.
Sorting through the racks of clothes and shoes.
I need the room,
Everything is squashed and creased.
Too big, too small, they all have to go.
I don’t remember buying that,
It’s still got the tags on it.
Why did I ever think I would wear it?

I am strange and absolutely get my kicks from organizing things. There's just something refreshing about purging the old stuff and reorganizing the keepers.

This is the perfect 55 for my mom as she was saying just the other day that she needs to sort out and clean out and that she even has things with the tags still on them, too!
My wife and I are both pack rats..we bred two pack rats too!

Very good story, but did you have to bring up spring cleaning?
Impulsive buying is what most of us do in some measure. I try not to most of the time because it makes me feel guilty afterwards!

i have to say lately i too have the urge to purge. good luck with your process.
The purge is on! I hope that people are donating stuff that is still good rather than just chucking it in the garbage.
Too BIG?! I envy you...mine are all WAY TOO SMALL!! and along with the disturbing of them, out comes clumps of cat hair, and now my eyes are watery and burning :(
You could eBay or craigslist the stuff with tags on! Good luck with the cleaning!

I've lost weight recently which is why some stuff is too big Debi and hopefully in a few months time there'll be much more. :)
This is so true!! I have just done my spring clearout and a total of 4 black bags went to charity!
