Friday 55 Flash Fiction #40 Hobo

Hobo

Underneath the unkemptness you could see she had something.
With love she could become the beauty she'd once been.
Greg decided he would take her home, if she'd let him.
She went willingly, he made her comfortable, gave her food, she seemed to trust him.
They would be great friends

he and this little dog.

Well she had to have a happy ending didn't she after being dumped a few weeks ago?

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

O dear. I hate it, when people abandon their pets, specially when they are old & have served them for life!

I'm glad Greg was kind enough to take her home! :)

you know what sucks here, ake? with property values being so low and the economy being what it is, people just walk out of their homes/mortgages with some leaving there pets behind. i don't understand why abandon them. why not bring them to a shelter or find them another home?

i'm glad this one had a happy ending :) great 55

What a lucky little pup she became...I'm sure she knows in her heart that she's home for good...I hope it wasn't too long a trip for her. She has a lovely face...

If only all such stories had this kind of ending. Thanks for not leaving the poor girl out on the street.

Reading a story with a happy ending is a great way to start my weekend. I wish real life stories could all have happy endings. Something to hope for...! Enjoy your weekend! And I do LOVE the music on your blog - 'dancing in the street...all we need is music , sweet music...'

It is terrible that some people just abandon their pets Mona, I don't know how they live with themselves. :(

I agree Ciara there are plenty of animal shelters willing to take pets.

She's such a sweet pup g-man, she had to have a happy ending! :)
