Friday 55 Flash Fiction #205 Unwelcome Visitor...

Creeping along the fence Purdy watched the house carefully.

Any sign of life and she'd be off, they'd never catch her.

Stealthily she made her way round the garden.

She didn't see the shadow at the open window

but she felt the sting as the pellet hit.

They didn't like cats in their garden here.

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

Poor Purdy! Nasty neighbours. (I have a couple like that and my three cats stay close to home these days.)

Poor Purdy. I know some cats need chasing off but to fire pellets at them is unforgivable. Even so I liked your 55... grins.

I have to admit I don't like the neighbourhood cats coming doing their business in my garden, I chase them off but I wouldn't hurt them AJ. Why do cats never do their business in their own garden??

I agree with you Valerie, glad you liked it.

They sure do Brian!

I adore cats, but I have to agree with you..."Why do cats never do their business in their own garden?"

It's the same way I feel about people not picking up after their dogs in the park. They just leave it there to step on :(

GREAT 55 Flash as usual, m'dear!

Have a terrific weekend!

Well done!!

My cat likes to head off into some nearby woods. What he does I have no idea although I know enough to realize its probably not pretty.

One of my aunts had a cat that brought back what it killed and left in on the front porch.

Great story. Ya gotta love cats, though. They have an "I don't give a damn attitude, and if you don't like it, well." Cheers!!
