My beloved Father, Joseph Henry Dawson, left us at 2.30 this afternoon to be with the love of his life Elsie, my Mum. RIP Dad I love you more than I could ever tell you and I will miss you forever. You were THE BEST Dad in the world and taught me everything. God Bless. x

I sorry for your loss.I know the feeling of losing a parent.I have been there twice first time was Aug1984 with the loss of my Dad he was only 58. and than in 2003 with the passing of my Mom.Hugs and Prayers.

I'm so sorry. But at least it sounds like there's a lot of life to celebrate and that's what makes a "happy" funeral (so to speak).
I feel a bit awkward saying that because it's natural to feel bereft when someone so important is gone, no matter how much they gave to you or the world, but I know you'll know what I mean.

Ukh perhaps I should have said "happier" not happy. My friend died 2.5 years ago and I still feel every day how unfair it is that she is gone.
