It was Christmas morning.
Sally’s eyes popped open.
Something had woken her.
She’d heard tinkling.
Creeping from her bedroom she stood on the landing listening.
There was definitely tinkling.
Holding her breath Sally listened intently.
Suddenly the bathroom door opened,
Sally jumped back.
“What a relief, I needed that tinkle!” whispered her husband,
“Happy Christmas.”
