Muriel stepped confidently onto the red carpet.
She walked steadily along its plushness.
She was nervous.
She'd done everything asked of her.
Would she be celebrating or distraught, returning along it's length?
All she could think about were the results.
Reaching the door Muriel's last thought was...
Strange choice, red carpet in a hospital corridor!

What a great 55 M'Dear. You never cease to amaze me. Red carpet hmm was it the psych ward? LOL. have a great Friday
When I was a kid our local hospital had red carpeted corridors. We surmised that it better hid the blood stains ....
how did she walk in those shoes?!!
At first I was thinking school exam results. Great twist. Those results can spell scary times or great relief.
I just love the twist you put on your 55's. You remain my hero.
Mine is posted
HERE.
Great twist in the end!
Reminds me of Queenie though. I hope she is all right....
Ewwwww, I'd agree, red could be the color of blood tho...maybe that was their thinking? [oh never mind!]
My 55 is posted [scroll down below my Friday Show n Tell!]
Awesome Akelamalu! Although I feel for the poor thing, knowing you, I'm sure the results were good news. Maybe she's having a baby and she's had issues getting pregnant. ;)
