Friday 55 Flash Fiction # 62 Sick

Sick

"Will you see the doctor?" Sam asked Jenny.

"No, I'll just stay in bed and rest."

"But you keep being sick."

She knew what he was thinking .....

A baby, he wanted one so badly, sadly it wasn't that.

She'd have to tell him......

She'd got legless last night and had a doozy of a hangover!

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

I'll have to add my name to the roster of "legless" initiates. I never heard that one before either. But I think I've been there a time or two... back in the day.

Something tells me Sam's gonna be a little miffed when he discovers the truth!

Cutey, cutey, cutey! I have never heard the term "legless" before. Is it British? Or maybe I'm just living a sheltered life. D
