Success........

My youngest son, Dan, has just had confirmation that he has been awarded a First Class Hons for his Law Degree!

Having dropped out of Uni before completing his Degree when he was 18, he decided to go back three years ago, at the age of 32, as a mature student and has worked so very hard, he deserves his success.    I should add that him going back to Uni was down to the selflessness of his partner, Fi, who has worked relentlessly to keep them all whilst Dan has been studying.

His Dad and I and all the family are so very proud of his achievement and apparently only 6% of Law students are awarded a First Class Degree!

We love you Dan! x

Having an attorney for a sister or a sister who is an attorney ;-) I know how difficult law school can be and how hard one has to work just to get through and to be awarded First Class is a brilliant achievement all the more so because he was competing with 20yos!

Thanks Mum! I've got to match my success in the fourth year now and aim for a distinction in the MLP! x

Oh, well done, Dan! It was brave of you to go back at such a late stage and to receive an honours when you have a home and family to take care of, too, that's just amazing!

WELL DONE DAN!

I was a mature student (37!) so I know the advantages and the disadvantages of being older than your classmates. I hope this is the start of some great times for him. I know mine was!

Huge congratulations to your son. What in incredibly proud moment this has been for you and your family. To have the love and support he has received, will no doubt have carried him through the tougher times of revision. With love and best wishes for a very successful career.

Congratulations to your son and to his partner. A fine achievement ... hard work obviously paid off. I wonder which branch of law he'll go into.

Dan was the oldest in the class and got so frustrated when the younger ones didn't work Daryl. He tried to tell them it would be so much easier for them to work now than have to go back later in life and do it.

Dan I just know you'll do it! Trust me, I'm your mother. x

It was brave of him Sharon and it's not been easy but he's thrilled he's done it. :)

He said it's not been easy Mama Zen but it has been worth it. :)

Ah you know exactly what it's all about then AJ!

Everyone has been routing for him CJ!

Yes it is Nitebyrd, thanks. x

I don't think he knows which branch of Law he wants to go into yet Valerie, he's just concentrating on getting his Degree and his Masters.

Indeed I am Ron, thanks m'dear. x

Very well done! Sometimes waiting to go to school is better in the long run. One better understands the value of the education and knows how to focus and succeed.

Congratulations Dan!

I know how difficult it is to go back to school and finish up. I walked with my BS in Business Admin at 36. Well done!
