Succinctly Yours - A Microfictioin Meme #48

Grandma at Grandma's Goulash provides a picture and a word prompt for this Microfiction Meme and the rules are use the photo as inspiration for a story of 140 characters OR 140 words.

Want more challenge? Use the word of the week in your story. This part is optional.

This week's word is TRANSPORT here's the picture and my offering using the picture and word of the week  in 140 characters, including spaces and punctuation.

When Al asked his mother for something for his birthday that had an engine, what he had in mind was some form of transport, not a lawnmower.

My son hates cutting the yard and now that he has a real job I may be forced to take it over again. Serious bummer!

Great writing!

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Clever as usual, m'dear!

Your post reminded me of when my father and mother FINALLY got a 'sit-down' lawnmower, which actually made us kids want to mow the lawn.

SMART parents, hu? HA!

Have a wonderful week!

Oh, I had an Al, too, and he had the same idea Grandma has in her comment.
Good stuff. I can imagine your Al's disappointment. LOL

lol am beginning to hate grass when it needs to be cut. I rather let it grow and have a goat come and eat it.
We should have grazing laws and invite animals to eat lol
