I know that feeling very well. I've rode roller coasters all my life and while they are not my favorites I did enjoy them until Space Mountain down in Disney World.
ReplyDeleteOn the surface I suppose its a pretty tame ride except for the fact it very disorientating because its mostly in the dark.
Throw in the fact that I am a tall guy and the roller coaster cars are very small. When I finally got off the thing I felt very lucky I still had the hamburger I ate an hour before.
Oh I've been on something similar and I know just how she felt!

ReplyDeleteperfect ... I had fun taking pix at Coney Island last summer of a ride just like that .. and the riders as they exited looked as tho they'd survived a tornado!
ReplyDeleteWonderful write, A.A. ~~ This reminds me of Adi (Google her on my blog or read her meme from the side bar link). She lays on her back and wiggles round and round and side to side. When she gets up she looks around in a dizzy-like fashion as if asking, "Where am I?"

And I'd have to agree with Beatrice. I'm one of those people who can't even go on the merry-go-round because I get dizzy on anything that spins!
