On 6th June (just gone) it was 40 years since MWM and I met (again).
I say again because we actually met first in 1963 and were together for about 6 months then drifted apart.
It was 8 long years before that wonderful night when we met again and we've been together ever since.
December 7th will be our 38th Wedding Anniversary.
Long Live Love!
You were obviously meant to be together... happy anniversary, Pearl. Have a wonderful day.

Oh I didn't realise that SAW!
Many congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThankyou Cheshire Wife :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary and many returns of the day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Trav :)
ReplyDeleteOh thats good that you got together for good after a gap in the relationship.
ReplyDeleteWe also married in Dec and will have been together 49 years this year!
It is different today as people don't always stick together at the first sign of something going wrong...... but fortunately, many still do. I read somewhere that more people get divorced in the older age group than any other! Bit sad that.
heres to yours & mine.

That is awesome...thirty-eight years of marriage on Dec. 7th! My husband, Jerry and I will celebrate our 36th anniversary tomorrow, June 19th.
ReplyDeleteSo you've known your husband almost 50 years! That is so cool. Jerry and I have known each other 41 years.
