Friday 55 Flash Fiction #184 Stuck....

She grabbed the end and tugged.

It's stuck, she thought, she tugged again.

It didn't budge.

If I clear some of this other stuff it may come free.

She tried again.

It was no use.

"Ah that's the reason" she said

as she glared at the woman holding the other end of the sale dress.

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

  13. I smacked the butterfly and knocked my coffee over.

    Just kidding.

I thought this was going to be sinister but then had to smile. Don't you just hate it when you end up eying the same garment on the sales rack?

    Have a great weekend!!

  18. I really laughed at this, had a similar thing happen, but I had passed it up then went back and some one else was holding it. I hovered then swooped when she put it back. It fit.

  19. This is where someone needs to step in with the King Solomon attitude and offer to split the dress in half!

  20. Yes you're probably right Cheshire Wife LOL

Glad you enjoyed it Deb and I'm sure you're right about it happening often.

Hovering is good Bankerchick, they usually put it down at some point. ;)
