Friday 55 Flash Fiction #177 New Doctor..

"The new doctor is wonderful" said Matron

"the patients love him and he's so polite.

“Here he is now” she told the new nurse.

"I know him" said the nurse

"he's only been here a couple of weeks right?”

"That's right, how did you know?" replied Matron.

"He's my neighbour,

and he's not a doctor!"

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

  5. A couple of weeks! It sounds like a scene from the movie "Catch Me If You Can" with Leonardo DiCaprio which is what the show "White Collar" is based on. (I like both)

  16. *laughing* 55 words and you took the cake! Well done!!

And you pose well, dearone. So well that I had to study that photo and decide just what backdrop got used. LOL That must have been some piece of paradise....and himself with the camera--done good!
Oh, you're a brave one, indeed. And he--has implicit taste, no doubt! Thanks for sharing a piece of yourself and that bit of paradise through his eyes. (though I'm sure they're one in the same...)

  20. Oh no...I love it!

You should so write a screenplay--I bet it would be deliciously fun. Just from the characters you come up with in your 55's alone...so creative!
