Recently I have been

through our old

to try to put
them into some sort of

. This is not as

as one might

.
For a start one gets

up looking at the

so the task takes

as long. Of course you have to

the

of all the

, but at least the

are usually

.
Anyway, I now have all the

away, so that I can

the

I want with

trouble at all!
I'd like to say

to

for the

of doing
this

post, and for the

help she gave me.
I hope you can

what I have

. If you

,
let me know by

what you think I have

in the

box.
Recently I have been sorting through or old photographs to try to put them into some sort of order. This is not as easy as one might think. For a start one gets caught up looking at teh photographs so the task takes twice as long. Of course you have to remember the dates of all the photographs but at least the locations are usually clear. Anyway I now have all the photographs neatly away, so that I can find the one I want with no trouble at all! I'd like to say thankyou to lettuce for the idea of doing this rebus post, and for the help she gave me. I hope you can read what I have written. If you can, let me know by writing what you think I have written in the comment box.
ReplyDeleteCheers!
What a great idea! I have to say though....if you click on all the pictures, the word you wanted to use comes up in the title of the picture. Me...a cheat? LoL.
What a task! Yes, that sort of thing usually takes me hours if not days - like looking i a dictionary, you get wonderfully distracted. A task for this weekend, I think, given the weather forecast!
ReplyDeleteWell done miss u, did you cheat????? :)
ReplyDeleteIt didn't take me too long surprisingly flowerpot. Now keeping them in order is a different matter altogether! :(
ReplyDeleteMost clever!!
ReplyDeleteWhat does it mean...?

I have two suitcases full of photos, so if you have a spare hour or two!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletelike to way you did but it took me a long time to upload all the pictures.haha :)
ReplyDeleteand i am tagged? ho ho ho! i am so excited! :)
I need to do this with all the photos I have on the computer. When I first started blogging I carefully named each photo to make it easy to find...then I got a digital camera! It's so easy to take LOADS of photos which of course I never find time to name. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack when I'm searching for an old photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat post; I enjoyed trying to work it out. Needless to say the "Cheers" at the end was the easiest...LOL
Rx
i love the new digital ones that don't get messed up with humidity and stuff. but i just have to remember to back them up! great post, and fun to read...

ReplyDeleteThat was fun. I had no trouble at all reading it. No, I didn't cheat or look over Miss Understood's shoulder.
ReplyDeleteLovely masthead, too. I've tried to include a picture for my masthead which would be apposite to my blog but the bloody thing doesn't align properly and I don't know how to fix it. Even my son (who's smarter than me in these things) couldn't help.
dumdad - not so dumb then? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks re the banner. I would prefer it to be smaller but I don't know how to resize it so it stays!
How long did that take to put together? Fantastic! I loved the 'Cheers' pic at the end!

Pauline I love doing anything on the computer, doesn't matter how fiddly and it keeps me out of MWM's hair!! :)
ReplyDeleteCan be a big project! When my folks died, we had to go thru a lifetime of theirs stored in boxes. It took forever because each one brought back a memory...
ReplyDeleteDuring this long long internet isolation period i have sorted out nearly all my digital images and have started scanning old photos i want a copy of.
ReplyDeleteOh...that was so much fun! Going through pictures is so much fun, but it usually takes a lot of time because you spend time reminiscing about the pictures...so much fun! Can you post like that again sometime! I loved it! So creative!
ReplyDeletebuffalodickdy I'm dreading the time I have to do the same to my Dad's photos - he has thousands!
