Driving like a maniac, he weaved in and out of the traffic.
Honking the horn, overtaking, tailgating, even running a red light,
taking chances he wouldn't normally take.
He had to get to the hospital,
be there for the birth of his first child.
Only two minutes away.....
Jan screamed "Stop now, the baby's coming!"

That is a situation I would not wish on my worst enemy. Great writting though, I could sense the tension and worry.
