Friday 55 Flash Fiction #197 Noisy....

That noise is driving me mad, he thought.,

What a time to be practising singing.

No consideration for people who are trying to sleep.

Put a pillow over my head.

I'm at my wit's end, if I had a gun I'd shoot them.

I suppose it's no use complaining,

No-one can stop the Dawn Chorus.

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.

  13. we have an overhang between the first and second floor
the birds love perching there, usually at dawn and usually over my bedroom window
since they're NJ birds they don't sing as much as they seem to be cussing at each other ;)
