Friday 55 Flash Fiction #166 A Long Way Down......

He looked down, the drop seemed enormous.

Nothing to cling onto.

He'd have to take the chance and just drop.

He prayed he would have a soft landing.

Holding on to the sides he shifted his body into the cavity

and dropped.

He hated going up into the loft, especially when the ladder fell over!

Friday 55 Flash Fiction is brought to you by G-man (Mr Knowitall). The idea is you write a story in exactly 55 words. If you want to take part pop over and let G-man know when you've posted your 55.
