May I become at all times,
Both now and for ever,
A protector for the helpless,
A guide for the lost ones,
A ship for those to cross oceans,
A bridge to cross rivers,
A sanctuary for those in danger,
A refuge for those who need shelter,
A servant to all in need.
There is often a big disparity between the way in which we perceive things and the way things really are.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day.
Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.
There is often a big disparity between the way in which we perceive things and the way things really are.
So the smart brain must be balanced with a warm heart, a good heart - a sense of responsibility, of concern for the well-being of others.
We are human beings, and we have this marvelous brain and marvelous heart, so there is potential to develop a proper mental attitude, through which we can have a happy, more peacful life.

That was a beautiful entry, and they were all so true. It doesn't hurt us to be occasionally reminded of what's important in life, does it?

ReplyDeleteCan you believe it?
I'm sure they actually know nothin' about what they think they are talkin' 'bout.

ReplyDeleteI know and I don't care if he is nuts, I like what he says, and there are some who think I'm nuts. How very dare they!
