Now my garden is just not in the same league as those that open to the public so, I thought I'd share some photos of my favourite garden - Monet's. You can find the following paintings, and more, here.

I found a lovely site called The Lilacs, a house to let near Giverney, France. This is a place I'd like to visit in the future, so I can see for myself Monet's garden and the inspiration for his paintings. Not only do I love gardens I love Monet's paintings.

My knee
Wednesday 25th April
Giant Leaps today. I had a shower all by myself! Although I still have to use the bathboard to get into the bath I was able to stand and do everything for myself. MWM is almost redundant!

After so long with someone helping or worse going without a shower,that was one of my giant steps too. Congratulations! The pictures are classic. I love the links for the vacation house, just beautiful. Thank you.

"Scheme" is a funny word for it, to my American ears. Sounds almost sinister, for such a loevly endeavor.

So good to hear your knee is doing so well! After 3 months of strip washes ONLY and the odd 'sneaked' shower/bath, I was finally allowed a bathboard this week, it's so nice to be allowed to do what is really just a task we normally take for granted! Am glad you'll be able to lose your bath board soon!

I always thought it such a shame Monet destroyed so many of his paintings... I would love to have compared his earlier and later work more, and seen how different it looked to 'real life'!

I LOVE your photo selection. It REALLY puts me in the mood for Spring! I especially enjoyed the Asian looking one. Reminds me of Japan!
Here in the U.S. the weather has been so unpredictable. One day HOT and HUMID...the next day RAINY and COLD.
I'm NOT a summer person....so the cooler weather feels good to me.
I hear that the U.K. is getting MUCH warmer summers. Thank God for A.C.
