I'm glad you enjoyed the Buckingham Palace tour through my eyes. x

I think the reason they don't allow photography is because they want everyone to buy a guide book Linda. I can honestly say I didn't see anyone taking photographs in the palace but there were officials every few yards anyway which deterred people. Glad you enjoyed it.

Ah you should go in the Palace next time you are in London Maggie, I'm sure you would enjoy it. :)

If only my house was big enough for a concealed door I'd have one Jannie ;)

I know Rosetta Stone is a learning programme Ciara obviously named after the original stone. I haven't visited you for a while because every time I did my computer shut down. I will try again though. Thanks for stopping by. x

The tapestries and paintings were magnificent as you might imagine Lettuce. I take it you haven't been inside the palace? I loved everything we had time to see in the British Museum but of course it would take many, many visits to see everything.Akelamaluhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11234268568845148285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922338030834754301.post-55134956358653048362010-09-30T17:59:11.384+01:002010-09-30T17:59:11.384+01:00all that splendour! i'd be interested to see ...all that splendour! i'd be interested to see the tapestries and paintings.

and Sutton Hoo - thats always a favourite stop in the British Museum for me toolettucehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13872380339261609060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922338030834754301.post-23020354576833984262010-09-30T01:12:00.933+01:002010-09-30T01:12:00.933+01:00rosetta stone is also a learning languages program...rosetta stone is also a learning languages program lol

thanks for the 'tour'. i want to go to london so bad. one day, i'll have that european trip. hope it's before i'm dead lol

p.s. are you still having trouble going onto my blog http://ciarasramblingsandwhatnot.com ? i don't know why it's causing you trouble. no one else has said anything. well except, g-man, but we got that sorted long ago. speaking of which, i'm gonna drop by and visit his place now :o)Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12365631315923740004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1922338030834754301.post-61437101183727990572010-09-30T00:00:30.584+01:002010-09-30T00:00:30.584+01:00Wow! The gold collars were magnificent - the photos really don't do them justice. I hope you get to see these things for yourself.

You should go to the museum Valerie, I'm sure you'd love it. Windsor Castle was magnificent - we had a wonderful time there.

Oh you managed to get a Harrods bag Bee! I may have to go back and buy something else so I can get one. I actually used to work at Kendal Milne in Manchester which was part of the Harrods group. It was actually called Harrods for a short period. Both Harrods and Kendals have been taken over by The House of Frazer.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the British Museum RJ.
